Roby Facchinetti’s debut, ‘Roby Facchinetti’, does not fit easily into one genre. Lead single “C’ Era Una Volta” and “Cosa Rimane” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Roby Facchinetti was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Roby Facchinetti and Roby Facchinetti together. This is the best album I have heard in a long time
Cosa Rimane is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. Din Din Din is nothing but pure genius. Due Belle Persone is one of the best records ever. Gente Di Scena is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Grande Fratello. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Holiday Inn, which shows, blatantly, how much Roby Facchinetti has evolved as a singer. I like L’ Anno Della Tigre because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. Don’t judge Quelli Nati Un Po In Coll on the first listening.
