This is one of the best Cd’s Rondo Veneziano has dropped to date. This fifteen-song debut EP shows the promise that Rondo Veneziano has. On Odissea Veneziana album, Rondo Veneziano have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like Odissea Veneziana.
Giardino Incantato is such a gorgeous and optimistic song that things can get just better. I like the agression and power of Rosaura. Nostalgia Di Venezia - My least favorite song on this album. This is one hell of a track. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. Cecilia on Odissea Veneziana is solid and easy to listen to. Get Odissea Veneziana and turn on Interludio if you are going to sip your wine late at night. L’Orientale pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. After few listenings I started to like Preludio All’Amore more and more. Bettina is one of the coolest songs Rondo Veneziano has ever recorded. Sogno Veneziano is gorgeous song though, very addictive. Odissea Veneziana - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love.
