It has been five years Rondo Veneziano’ last studio CD, “Scaramucce” which won Array MTV Music Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Since completing 1982’s ‘Riflessi Sull’acqua’, Rondo Veneziano fulfilled their contract with EMI Records and where under no obligation to release another album. This is the first studio album from Rondo Veneziano since bad diagnosis in 1982. Overall, I would highly recommend Scaramucce CD.
Re Sole is a striking and quite long song. This song stands out greatly from the others. Charming song, great melody. La Serenissima I just LOVE this mix! Campielli presents the gorgeous mix of instruments on Scaramucce. Laguna Incantata is the first taste of the new album. Arabesco is a marvelous, simple song by Rondo Veneziano at the top of his game. Alla Corte Del Re is amazing song though, very addictive. Scaramucce is a marvelous sing-along.
