Since Roosevelt Sykes last CD (American Folk Blues Festival ‘65) on Columbia Records back in 1965, I have felt a massive void in my life. Since completing 1965’s ‘Come On Back Home’, Roosevelt Sykes fulfilled their contract with Columbia Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Now signed to Roosevelt Sykes’s Columbia Records, the title track from second album “American Folk Blues Festival ‘65″ leads Roosevelt Sykes’s back-to-school campaign. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
