Sam Cooke had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. This album has some very good songs like Feel It and Chain Gang. There is so much to love about Sam Cooke, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. This is what good R&B: Soul should be.
Overall a nice softer song. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Strong, powerful vocals of Sam Cooke in Medley: It’s All Right / For Sentimental Reasons are very impressive. In Twistin’ The Night Away it becomes nowhere more obvious that Sam Cooke has yet to define own style. Somebody Have Mercy is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Sam Cooke ever produced. Bring It On Home is so unique, as each one of the songs is. Nothing Can Change This Love - I just love it. Sam Cooke offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself.
