This album has some very good songs like Dawn / Go Within and Carnaval. When you buy a Santana Band album, you know exactly what you’re getting! After debuting at No. 1 last week, Santana Band’s album Moonflower (CD 1) falls to No. 2 with 790,000, a sales slide of 89%. This album is a scorcher!
Carnaval stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. The song Let The Children Play ending is my favorite… so catchy! In Jugando Santana Band is at his best. I’ll Be Waiting motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. Opening track Zulu shows the best of Santana Band. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. I think Black Magic Woman / Gypsy Queen is the best song Santana Band has ever done. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Dance Sister Dance (Baila Mi Hermana) is my favorite song on Moonflower (CD 1). I loved Europa (Earth’s Cry Heaven’s Smile) the first time I heard it.
