Self-described as Jazz with lots of words, Santana Band comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. This thirteen-song debut EP shows the promise that Santana Band has. While no new Santana Band album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1981 tour in Europe. IT makes me wanna dance!
Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Zebop is E Papa Re. Primera Invasion is the album’s biggest hit, I think. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. Over and Over - arguably the best track on Zebop album. Winning is the funkiest number on the album. Tales Of Kilimanjaro - I like this one. The Sensitive Kind is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is American Gypsy because the melody in the chorus is so good. It took me a little time but I ended up loving I Love You Much Too Much. Strong, powerful vocals of Santana Band in Brightest Star are very impressive. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Hannibal.
