Since completing 1984’s ‘All For You’, Shankar fulfilled their contract with Blue Note Records and where under no obligation to release another album. On Vision album, Shankar have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. It’s natural for Shankar to take a stab at ‘All For You’ considering her long-professed love for Godless Cruelty. Vision is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.
I believe Vision is one of the most marvelous, heartfelt songs ever written. Song Astral Projection is actually a funny song. Within the first few notes of Psychic Elephant it’s perfectly clear that Shankar is living this song. The Message - I like this one.
