Simon and Garfunkel was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Simon and Garfunkel and Bookends together. ‘Bookends’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Self-described as Folk with lots of words, Simon and Garfunkel comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Bookends is not something you should pass up.
Save The Life Of My Child - This is a very lively song. It’s such an underrated song. This is one hell of a track. Voices Of Old People had me crying as I was able to relate so well. I hope to keep hearing Simon and Garfunkel works for a long time to come. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Simon and Garfunkel. Fakin’ It is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. Punky’s Dilemma presents the amazing mix of instruments on Bookends. Mrs. Robinson catches attention immediately, |titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. At The Zoo is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. One listen to the sheer beauty of You Don’t Know Where Your Interest Lies was all I needed. As always, Simon and Garfunkel’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again.
