This sixteen-song debut EP shows the promise that Simon and Garfunkel has. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Simon and Garfunkel’s album Sounds of Silence (remastered) falls to No. 2 with 448,000, a sales slide of 93%. For older fans Sounds of Silence (remastered) will put a massive smile accross your face. This is what good Folk should be.
Leaves That Are Green is possibly the best song Simon and Garfunkel has come up. Blessed is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. Kathy’s Song - This one makes me want to not only sing along. Somewhere They Can’t Find Me one is one of the better boring ones. Anji is one of my favorite songs by Simon and Garfunkel. Richard Cory - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. A Most Peculiar Man one of the best in my collection. April Come She Will very upbeat. We’ve Got A Groovey Thing Goin’ is a striking and quite long song. I Am A Rock is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Sounds of Silence (remastered). I have all of Simon and Garfunkel’s tracks and Barbriallen (Demo) is probably the most his introspective effort. Rose Of Aberdeen (Demo) - Check out that bassline! Roving Gambler (Demo) has a fun tempo.
