Lead single “Danger Zone” and “No Place In Heaven” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. When you buy a Sinner album, you know exactly what you’re getting! Sinner was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Sinner and Danger Zone together. To me Sinner is the best band ever.
No Place In Heaven is the song that really did it for me. Within the first few notes of Scene Of A Crime it’s perfectly clear that Sinner is living this song. In Lupo Manaro the music gets its power. Sinner allows each song to breathe and flourish. The Shiver - arguably the best track on Danger Zone album. Razor Blade is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. In Shadow In The Night Sinner is at his best. Wild Winds presents the perfect mix of instruments on Danger Zone. In Rattlesnake the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. Outro - To me, this is the best song on the Danger Zone.
