This album has some very good songs like I Don’t Want To Say Goodbye and Music Makes Me Feel Good. Self-described as disco with lots of words, Sister Sledge comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Sister Sledge. All American Girls touched my soul like nothing else.
Don’t judge Music Makes Me Feel Good on the first listening. Don’t You Let Me Lose It is a very catchy tune. Make A Move - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. Ooh, You Caugh My Heart is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. Once Happy Feeling gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. I hope to keep hearing Sister Sledge works for a long time to come. If You Really Want Me is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. Sister Sledge allows each song to breathe and flourish. All American Girls is probably the most interesting track on All American Girls.
