I am not a real Electronic music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Six’ really is amazing. For older fans Six will put a massive smile accross your face. This album has some very good songs like Fanfare and All White. To me Soft Machine is the best band ever.
All White catches attention immediately, A fantastic track full of wonder. Riff is the more seemingly obscure song on Six that bear up best to repeated listening. 5.37 12 is a gorgeous song and it grows on you. It’s such an underrated song. After you’ve listened to E.p.v., most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. Lefty motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. Stumble is the albums biggest surprise. 5 From 13 (For Phil Seamen With Love and Thanks…) is beautiful, yet underrated track. Once you hear Riff Ii, you will listen to it over and over. The Soft Weed Factor actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Soft Machine’s face. Stanley Stamps Gibbon Album is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create.
