There were many famous songs of Sonny Terry available. It’s natural for Sonny Terry to take a stab at ‘I Ain’t Gonna Be Your Dog No More’ considering her long-professed love for Paul Oakenfold. This is one hell of a track. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. High Powered Woman has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. Pepperheaded Woman as a highlight of Sonny’s Story contains a ton of exquisite melodies. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Sonny’s Story is my favorite song on Sonny’s Story. I’m Gonna Get On My Feets Afterwhile (4:04) a good melody. Four O’Clock Blues is the most memorable and excellent. Telephone Blues is really the reason why I recommend buying Sonny’s Story. Great Tall Engine (2:56) - Oh, this is one of my favorites!
