Lead single “Lifeline” and “Pleasure” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. This disc has all of the essential Spandau Ballet classics. Now signed to Spandau Ballet’s Blue Note Records, the title track from second album “True” leads Spandau Ballet’s back-to-school campaign. This is my first Spandau Ballet Album and i must say i am blown away.
This track is full of harmonies and gets True off to a relaxing start. You can find feelings on this piece of art. Gold is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. Foundation had me crying as I was able to relate so well. Communication is one of the best records ever. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. True is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen.
