When you buy a Stephan Micus album, you know exactly what you’re getting! It’s natural for Stephan Micus to take a stab at ‘Part 1 - 5 Accoustic Guitars, Ney’ considering her long-professed love for Godsplague. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Stephan Micus’s album Wings Over Water falls to No. 2 with 780,000, a sales slide of 60%. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like Wings Over Water.
Part 2 - Sarangi, Voice, 6 Flowerots actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Stephan Micus’s face. Wings Over Water couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Part 3 - 2 Spanish Guitars, 9 Flowerpots. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Part 5 - 22 Flowerpots, Nay is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. Part 6 - 3 Spanish Guitars, 4 Bavarian Zithers, Suling is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Stephan Micus released so far.
