After debuting at No. 1 last week, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble’s album Couldn’t Stand The Weather falls to No. 2 with 683,000, a sales slide of 55%. Now signed to Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble’s Capitol Records, the title track from second album “Couldn’t Stand The Weather” leads Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble’s back-to-school campaign. It has been six years Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble’ last studio CD, “Couldn’t Stand The Weather” which won Array Grammy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. This album is awesome.
Couldn’t Stand The Weather - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. Honey Bee I just LOVE this mix! Nice and different song. Stang’s Swang is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. The Things (That) I Used To Do - A catchy, upbeat tune. Tin Pan Alley very upbeat. Only one song from Couldn’t Stand The Weather named Voodoo Chile (Slight Return) really got me.
