Since Tangerine Dream last CD (Sorcerer) on EMI Records back in 1977, I have felt a massive void in my life. This disc has all of the essential Tangerine Dream classics. When you buy a Tangerine Dream album, you know exactly what you’re getting! Exciting stuff.
First time I heard Search was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.The Call is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. Creation has a fun tempo. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Sorcerer. Charming song, great melody. I now have Grind as one of my personal favorites. Rain Forest to me is the best you can get from Tangerine Dream. Tangerine Dream sings Abyss in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. The Mountain Road has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. Impressions of Sorcerer is the album’s biggest hit, I think. Tangerine Dream is one of artists that allow his songs like Betrayal (Sorcerer Theme) to stand on their own and be heard.
