Teach In was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Teach In and Festival together. Since Teach In last CD (Festival) on EMI Records back in 1974, I have felt a massive void in my life. Now signed to Teach In’s EMI Records, the title track from second album “Festival” leads Teach In’s back-to-school campaign. Smart music for smart people.
Music and lyrics of In The Summernight creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. There Ain’t No Time can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Teach In is all about. I’m Alone is one of the best records ever. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Let Me In. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. The song Ding-A-Dong ending is my favorite… so catchy! From the moment you listen to Sing Your Song you’re hooked. |titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. Old Friend Goodbye very upbeat. Don’t judge Doll on the first listening. You and Me is a amazing, simple song by Teach In at the top of his game. Fly Away is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle.
