The Art Ensemble of Chicago had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Lead single “Illistrum” and “Barnyard Scuffel Shuffel” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. There is so much to love about The Art Ensemble of Chicago, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. This is the best album I have heard in a long time
Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. Fanfare for the Warriors - This is a very lively song. So much energy, so exciting a sound.I can’t stop humming along Tnoona. Key is probably the highlight of the album.
