While no new The B-52’s album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1982 tour in South America. After seeing Loveland, I had to have a good The B-52’s cd. For older fans Mesopotamia will put a massive smile accross your face. Mesopotamia is the best essence of The B-52’s.
One listen to the sheer beauty of Deep Sleep was all I needed. Mesopotamia is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. I have all of The B-52’s’s tracks and Cake Lava is probably the most his introspective effort. I love the melodic melody of Throw That Beat In The Garbage Can and to this day it makes me feel good. This track is clearly meant to showcase The B-52’s’s vocal abilities.
