After seeing Legal Tender, I had to have a good The B-52’s cd. Whammy is an amazing album, racked with beauty.While no new The B-52’s album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1983 tour in Europe. This is what good Classical should be.
The B-52’s is hitting on all cylinders in Whammy Kiss. Song For A Future Generation is the first taste of the new album. It’s a great pleasure to listen to Butterbean from the beginning to the end. Trism is the funkiest number on the album. Queen Of Las Vegas is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. Some of the arrangements found on Whammy are surprisingly edgy. The song Big Bird ending is my favorite… so catchy! |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Whammy.
