Jim Jones has compared writing for The Byrds’s new album to that on ‘Turn! Turn! Turn!’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. This disc has all of the essential The Byrds classics. IF YOU LIKE ALL The Byrds’S SONG GO FOR IT! This is my first The Byrds Album and i must say i am blown away.
It Won’t Be Wrong is such a excellent and optimistic song that things can get just better. This is probably my favorite song on the album. I have all of The Byrds’s tracks and Lay Down Your Weary Tune is probably the most his introspective effort. He Was A Friend Of Mine is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. In The World Turns All Around Her The Byrds spins a tale you want to hear to the end. I came to like Satisfied Mind. If You’re Gone is really a nice song to relax and listen too. The Times They Are A-Changin’ is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. This song is dynamic and dramatic. Although Oh! Susannah is very melodic it is far from sad. The Day Walk (Never Before) is a song to enjoy for years to come. Overall a nice softer song. The Times They Are A-Changin’ (first Version) sets the tone for the entire album. It’s All Over Now Baby Blue (Version 1) is a bit of a show-tune. She Don’t Care About Time (Version 1) is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. Only one song from Turn! Turn! Turn! named World Turns All Around Her (Alternate Mix) really got me. It’s such an underrated song.
