After debuting at No. 1 last week, The Circle Jerks’s album Wild In The Streets falls to No. 2 with 139,000, a sales slide of 73%. It has been eleven years The Circle Jerks’ last studio CD, “Wild In The Streets” which won Array MTV Music Awards and was nominated for album of the year. This disc has all of the essential The Circle Jerks classics. IT makes me wanna dance!
Leave Me Alone is nothing but pure genius. The sound of Stars And Stripes is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. Voice and instruments in 86′d (Good As Gone) complement each other. A fantastic track full of wonder. The Circle Jerks has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. Murder The Disturbed was the first single release from the album Wild In The Streets. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Letter Bomb is my favorite song on Wild In The Streets. Question Authority is the albums biggest surprise. Defamation Innuendo pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. Moral Majority (0:55) a good melody. After about the third Forced Labor listen through, I began to believe this song is The Circle Jerks’s essence. In Political Stu you won’t find any flashy solos. The Circle Jerks breathes new life into the music in Just Like Me. Put A Little Love In Your… marked the continuation of The Circle Jerks in style evolution.
