The Police had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. There is so much to love about The Police, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. On the Portugal charts, superstar The Police’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
Outlandos D’Amour couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track So Lonely. Roxanne is pretty funky and mellow. This song is dynamic and dramatic. Peanuts is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. Can’t Stand Losing You - To me, this is the best song on the Outlandos D’Amour. Truth Hits Everbody is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. Born In The 50’s is marvelous work of The Police. Be My Girl - Sally is such a perfect and optimistic song that things can get just better. Masoko Tanga is really a nice song to relax and listen too.
