John Digester has compared writing for The Residents’s new album to that on ‘Duck stab’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. Since The Residents last CD (Duck stab) on Savoy Records back in 1978, I have felt a massive void in my life. On the Australia charts, superstar The Residents’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. If you want to hear real Industrial, get this record now!
I think Sinister Exaggerator is the best song The Residents has ever done. The Booker Tease was the first single release from the album Duck stab. Some of the arrangements found on Duck stab are surprisingly edgy. Laughing Song is a song to enjoy for years to come. Nice and different song. Elvis And His Boss is a medium tempo tune.
