Self-described as Instrumental with lots of words, The Shadows comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. After debuting at No. 1 last week, The Shadows’s album Rockin’ With Curly Leads falls to No. 2 with 617,000, a sales slide of 77%. Rockin’ With Curly Leads is an amazing album, racked with beauty. This is one of The Shadows best albums
Years Away - For me, this is the best of the album. Humbucker (4:19) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! Deep Roots good vocals. The Shadows sings Jungle Jam in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. This song may be the most meaningful. Good Vibrations is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Rockin’ With Curly Leads have ended. Turn Around and Touch Me - To me, this is the best song on the Rockin’ With Curly Leads. The Shadows sings his heart out in Wide Mouthed Frog. It’s such an underrated song. Gutbucket is one of the more up-tempo songs on Rockin’ With Curly Leads. This is probably my favorite song on the album.
