While no new The Velvet Underground album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1972 tour in Asia. The Velvet Underground was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from The Velvet Underground and Live at Max’s Kansas City together. The Velvet Underground had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is Sweet Jane
Sweet Jane motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. The first time I listened to Lonesome Cowboy Bill I was struck by its perfect sound. I can’t stop humming along Beginning to See the Light. I’ll Be Your Mirror - This one is lively and fun. Pale Blue Eyes is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. Sunday Morning is the album’s biggest hit, I think. In New Age the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. In Femme Fatale full palet of sound is used by The Velvet Underground to accentuate the presentation. After Hours is one of my favorite songs by The Velvet Underground.
