This fourteen-song debut EP shows the promise that Tomaz Pengov has. Since Tomaz Pengov last CD (Odpotovanja) on EMI Records back in 1973, I have felt a massive void in my life. It has been ten years Tomaz Pengov’ last studio CD, “Odpotovanja” which won Array Grammy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. IF you love Tomaz Pengov, ‘Odpotovanja’ Mp3’s is the best!
This track is clearly meant to showcase Tomaz Pengov’s vocal abilities. A great put together song. Potovanja nespecih is a strong cut, one of many. Matala is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. Cakajoc nase brat is a great opener for Odpotovanja. In Nerodna pesem it becomes nowhere more obvious that Tomaz Pengov has yet to define own style. Kretnje is a fine track on any terms. Druga jesen - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. Oce is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. Strong, powerful vocals of Tomaz Pengov in Sarkofagi are very impressive. From the moment you listen to Ladje prostora you’re hooked. The opening track Epistola is very much like you would expect from other albums.
