This is the first studio album from Tri Yann since bad diagnosis in 1976. ‘La Decouverte Ou L’ignorance’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. La Decouverte Ou L’ignorance isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Great Celtic right here!
Complainte Gallaiset is one of the more up-tempo songs on La Decouverte Ou L’ignorance. Bottie d’ Asperges - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. Kiss the Children (3:42) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! Jument de Michao is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. Levee des 300.000 Homme is a strong cut, one of many. Mariage Insolite de Marie la Bretonne stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. Quandi la Bergere - Tri Yann first major hit. I was truly moved when I heard Grand Valet. Album opener Decouverte ou l’Ignora is a bright, upbeat ditty.
