After debuting at No. 1 last week, Tri Yann’s album Tri-Yann An Naoned falls to No. 2 with 823,000, a sales slide of 90%. On Tri-Yann An Naoned album, Tri Yann have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. I am not a real Celtic music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Tri-Yann An Naoned’ really is amazing. I wish that “Tri-Yann An Naoned” album was instrumental.
La Vierge A La Fontaine good vocals. Pastourelle De Saint-Julien - Maraichine - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Tri Yann. Tri Martelod is a bit of a show-tune. Before Ireland Can Go Free - Ye Jacobites - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. Les Filles D’Escoublac (2:26) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. Johnny Monfarleau which is my favorite is a truly Tri Yann sounding song. La Calibourdaine De Breca - I like this one. I like to sing along with Les Prisons Des Nantes, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. An Alarc’h is worth the money. Le Dauphin is pretty funky and mellow. This song stands out greatly from the others.
