This album has some very good songs like Black Market and Scarlet Woamn. Weather Report was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Weather Report and 8:30 (CD 1) together. Since completing 1979’s ‘Black Market’, Weather Report fulfilled their contract with Virgin Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Smart music for smart people.
Scarlet Woamn is a exquisite, simple song by Weather Report at the top of his game. Teen Town - A catchy, upbeat tune. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. Slang has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create.
