This eight-song debut EP shows the promise that Weather Report has. This is one of the best Cd’s Weather Report has dropped to date. This album has some very good songs like Birdland and Thanks For The Memory. Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is Thanks For The Memory
Thanks For The Memory has a fun tempo. Badia - Boogie Woogie Waltz Me - This one is lively and fun. 11171 is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. A great put together song. The Orphan is one of the coolest songs Weather Report has ever recorded. Sightseeing great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.
