While no new Wim Mertens album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1982 tour in Asia. It has been ten years Wim Mertens’ last studio CD, “Vergessen” which won Array Academy Awards� and was nominated for album of the year. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Wim Mertens energies, virtually a rebirth. If I may, I suggest “Inergys”. That one song is amazing!
This is probably my favorite song on the album. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. 4 Mains is simply amazing. Multiple 12 is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. Inergys (Reprise) still maintains something of a specific flourish.
