It’s natural for ZECCHINO D ORO to take a stab at ‘Biribiribindi’ considering her long-professed love for Madonna. This is the first studio album from ZECCHINO D ORO since bad diagnosis in 1977. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of ZECCHINO D ORO on ‘Biribiribindi’. This is the best album I have heard in a long time
It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Cavallino peruviano, which shows, blatantly, how much ZECCHINO D ORO has evolved as a singer. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. Hagi Fir makes a person feel amazing. It took me a little time but I ended up loving I castelli di Brisighella. I love the melodic melody of I pescatori del Canada and to this day it makes me feel good. Nel duemila - a classic song. Rapa rapanello has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. Rumbakatumba gets you up and jumping. I think Samba della mia terra is the best song ZECCHINO D ORO has ever done. La buona volont is just simply stunning. Within the first few notes of …Finch non cado dal sonno it’s perfectly clear that ZECCHINO D ORO is living this song.
