Since completing 1969’s ‘Sail On’, Zephyr fulfilled their contract with ForeFront Records and where under no obligation to release another album. There were many famous songs of Zephyr available. Zephyr isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Zephyr constantly brilliant.
Sun’s A-Risin’ - another great track from the Zephyr album. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. Boom-Ba-Boom is the amazing blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. One listen to the sheer beauty of Somebody Listen was all I needed. It’s a great pleasure to listen to Cross The River from the beginning to the end. St. James Infirmary is a medium tempo tune. I find myself hearing bits of Huna Buna here and there throughout my waking hours. It’s such an underrated song.
